For the time being, to protect the health of my clients and myself regarding COVID-19, I will be conducting all counselling sessions through video technology or via telephone.
I plan on providing in-person counselling again at my office in Victoria, BC when I feel that it is safe to do so.
Video/Telephone Counselling
Do you want to be able to have therapy sessions wherever you happen to be at the time (work, home, or while travelling)?
Are you looking for a convenient way to access the help and support you need without having to travel to a therapist’s office?
If either of these fit for you, then video or telephone counselling may be just what you’re looking for.
I use a secure encrypted Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)-compliant video platform with great success to work with clients all across Canada. You can also have sessions with me via your telephone and I pay for the phone call so there is no extra charge to you.
I also offer telephone and video appointments to local clients who find in-person sessions inconvenient or hard to get to.
If you are interested in working with me via video or telephone, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to set things up.
To book a session or to set up a free 15-minute phone or video consultation, call me at 778.265.6190 or email me. Evening appointments available.
Fees
My fee for each 50-minute session is $140+GST and is covered by many extended medical plans. You can call your provider and ask if they cover RCCs (Registered Clinical Counsellors) or RSWs (Registered Social Workers): I am both.
You pay me directly and I give you a receipt which you then submit to your provider for reimbursement.
Also, I am a registered provider for the Canadian Armed Forces (both Air Force and Navy). They cover the entire cost of my services. I bill them directly on your behalf.
